Who is the artist you dislike and why will he/she never influence you? I would say and handful of bands really shaped me. I was influenced by bands that were local growing up. Oddly enough the bands that inspired me were never huge bands but rather club bands and one of those bands is Teenage Head. They were a big part in my record collection and played a huge role in my musical journey. But I don't think I've really been influenced by them enough to give you an example. I just pick up the guitar and play chords randomly and wait for a melody to come, and when a melody comes and maybe a line, then I go for it and it becomes a song. so in that moment the only thing in my mind is writing and finishing that song.   Trio canadien, originaire de Toronto, THE MENDOZAZ (leur nom vient du capitaine Mendoza, personnage du dessin animé des 80’s : Les Mystérieuses cités d’or) propose 8 titres punk rock versant power pop soit des morceaux mélodiques et percutants, intenses et prenants, Jonathan (chanteur – guitariste) chante d’une voix maîtrisé, hargneuse juste comme il faut … Musicalement on navigue entre les artistes de Fat Wreck Chords (Propagandhi, Swingin’ Utters, Dillinger Four ...) et Social Distortion par exemple. We’re heavily influenced by the whole Merseybeat scene — The Beatles above all, but also groups like The Searchers, whose harmonies and chiming guitars shaped our sound. The British Invasion gave us that tight, energetic feel we love, while the Italian and French beat scenes taught us the charm of catchy melodies with a raw, youthful spirit.
