Ron Peno et Chris Welsh vont former un peu plus tard les Died Pretty. Le guitariste sera lui à lorigine des SCREAMING TRIBESMEN. Tony Robertson quant à lui tiendra la basse dans les NEW CHRISTS. The Australian rock scene has always been very rich. Today we'd like to introduce you to The Stripp. A band that really hooked us and that we highly recommend.  Can you tell us a little about the band? Jason and Bek formed The Stripp in 2019 after playing in a bunch of other bands with the vision of creating a band that was fresh and more inline with our own personal style. We love all things rock n roll and wanted to combine our influences to create something kinda unique. How long have you been around? I think it was just before the covid crisis. It must have been hard to get your name out there? We’ve been around since 2019. It’s incredibly hard to establish a name for yourself and the covid crisis and lockdowns certainly didn’t help. Our goal is simply to keep writing, touring and releasing music that we hope will resonate and move people and organically grow our audience and connect with rock n roll fans the world over. Melbourne punks Civic have been threatening to unleash a classic since they emerged on the scene with the 12” EP New Vietnam on Anti Fade records . A few strong 7”s followed. Two, again on Anti Fade before a move to Flightless for the 3rd. Then in 2021 the full lengther on Flightless…. Future Forecast. Geelong! I hear you say. What’s that all about? THE TASHMINTS : "The Tashmints " (LP  - Beluga Rds - 2022) (Melbourne, Australie)  - rock garage Anthony Paine (basse), Mick Baty & Toshi Maeda (batterie), Janelle Johnstone & Lindsay McLennan (guitare), Richard Whelan (chant) paru le 15 aout 2022 Enregistré en 2009, jamais réalisé... Ce groupe qui se sépara en 2010 vient de se reformer et a sorti ces "vieilles bandes" rangées dans un carton (ont-ils copié le principe de nos Monsters Files ?). Il n'y a pas que Peau De Pêche ...
