LP/CD 2022) (New York, USA / Stockholm, Suède) Keith Streng (guitare, chant) Jim Heneghan (basse, chant) Robert Ericksson (batterie) Mans Mansson (guitare, chant) Je ne ferai pas l'affront de présenter les membres de Strengsbrew , vieux briscards bien connus du monde du Rock et encore assez jeunes pour nous offrir ce superbe album, Too Far North,  sorti l'an dernier (oui, je sais, je suis à la bourre, encore une fois ...).  Superbe album, donc, dans lequel se mélangent très habilement Heavy Rock 70's, Soul et Pop 60's  ( la reprise de Sharon Tandy ,  Hold On , est une tuerie)  et une bonne dose de Rock N'Roll pour donner naissance à de véritables hits (écoutez donc Full Bitch et Killer Boots ) Le tout a été enregistré et produit à Stockholm, dans deux studios différents et le résultat est excellent !   THE MAHARAJAS: ROCK N'ROLL GRADUATES (LP Chaputa! Records 2022) (Racksta, Suède) Jens Lindberg (guitare, chant, claviers), Jesper Karlsson (batterie, chant), Ulf Guttormsson (basse), Mathias Lilja (guitare) Voix de Garage vous en parlait en fin d'année dernière, The Maharajas ont sorti leur huitième album en décembre et jouent un Garage très 60's et très énergique (écoutez donc How Many Times? ).  Ils ont sorti un double single avec The Nomads en 2016 chez Chaputa! Records (même concept que The Courettes/The Jackets ). La formule a, semble-t-il, fonctionné puisqu'ils ont remis ça en 2021 avec The Flaming Sideburns.  Ils ont partagé la scène avec les Toxics les 26 et 27 mai derniers en Finlande Diplômés en Rock N'Roll? Vous me suivez? Et bien, c'est exactement ce que proposent le label  Chaputa! et Jens Lindberg  avec cet album de 18 titres Garage-Rock qui réunit 6 des groupes de Jens, dont les Maharajas que l'on retrouve ici pour deux inédits enregistrés en 1996. L'album couvre la période des 90's, contient de vraies pépites Garage et toutes ces chansons, enregistrées en studio, ont été produites et compilées par Jens lui-même.
